DIY Spiked Sneakers

Another day, another craft. Except this one is AWESOME
I know I say that all the time, but I really mean it.

SEE:
I may have a semi-serious shoe addiction. But, hey, recognition is the first step to recovery. And in the meantime, my feet look damn good
Despite the fact that another pair of shoes is probably the last think I need, these turned out bangin' and I loved wearing them out on the town. Got loads of compliments and boogied so hard I lost a few spikes. (All spike suicides were mourned and then, when enough time had passed, replaced with new spikes.)

Supplies:
1. Sneakers from Target.
2. White pencil from Blick.
3. Metal point from Blick.
4. Spikes from sudsandspikes.com.

Step 1:
Use the white pencil to mark the spots where the spikes should go.

Step 2:
Pierce a hole through each mark.

Step 3:
Push screw from spike through the holes from the inside of the shoe. Screw spike on. Repeat until shoe is covered in spikes.

It's a simple process but it is super time consuming so make sure you have a good movie to watch while crafting OR multiple episodes of Breaking Bad, which was my preference.

Happy Monday, y'all! Cha-ching!

Love me on all the social media!

Just stumbled across your blog via Apartment Therapy! LOVE. So many cool ideas. The first one I'll be stealing, er, borrowing? Studded cell phone case.

Then...so many possibilities... :-D
